Sixtention are musicians with a shared passion for good music.

Jooni Hwang (violin) and Marc Hallbauer (guitars) play world hits paired with classical music up to the current music scene as you have never heard them before. Their own arrangements are rousing and unexpectedly different - purely instrumental and will delight fans of classical and rock/pop music alike. The common thread is unmistakably to be found in classical instruments, but not in classical music.

Sixtention's repertoire ranges from rock and pop to classical music and is a very special concert or show experience thanks to the spirited, virtuoso sound of the violin. The varied program inspires young and old. Depending on the type of event, Sixtention can also perform as a complete band with keyboard, bass and drums.

Sixtention has thrilled and enchanted audiences at the "FLIC FLAC Highlig Abend" show in Aachen in 2013/2014 (watch a video here), the "Comprix 2014" gala in Cologne and the Skyliners' "Basketball macht Schule" gala in Frankfurt.

Sixtention was repeatedly awarded in various categories by the German Association of Rock and Pop Musicians on 23.11.2013 in Pfalzbau / Ludwigshafen.
